When you post on Yahoo Answers, and you hang around for awhile, does it make you happier, depressed, more the exact same as you were feeling when you went on. And if you come here for bored, does it help relieve that?

It makes me think of my answers those i posted very confidently and also the questions which i could not answer at all. Yet again, when i hang around for a while, the mind is working all the time and new ideas and answers come up. Somehow i feel the need to answer and when i come back, as it has happened at least two times, the exact question is there and i have scored full 10 Pt's on both the occasions. But this happened only twice, not any more. No, i do not feel bored...its very captivating to me and a very good learning experience bec we always learn new things and find many answers to our own questions those keep us bothering on from time to time.

I hang out here for something to do. Give the teens advice so there's not too much flaming, because that's awful. My friend and I were having a discussing about how our middle school years would have been, had there been myspace during puberty. We decided it would have been catastrophic.

But yes... I'm going to join the Navy and like to answer questions until I have a job to go to everyday (quit my job, waiting to take ASVAB). So for the most part, Yahoo answers is a blast.

The undesirable effects of Yahoo solutions all stem from the familiar progression of the Enlightenment's theory of the democratization of information, which the internet has carried to new heights in no way expected by utilising the sages of the previous. Making information democratic, it is open to all, relies upon on the earlier dedication to common education. everybody could be knowledgeable to a undemanding point so discourse may well be significant and fruitful. As our academic standards have been worn down by utilising new ideological theories of training and the permissive acceptance, or encouragement, of declining standards the skill to hold a significant discourse at a intense, yet undemanding point has slowly disappeared. the hot result has been a inhabitants of semi-literates who seek for solutions to complicated questions they are extremely in a position to precise in a significant way or they seem for solutions to questions of this manner of banal nature one wonders why they could turn here to uncover the respond. Yahoo solutions, itself, isn't a source of this difficulty, besides the undeniable fact that it feeds into the situation via fact it faucets into the collective mass of all on the what-ever point they exist already at. via fact the undemanding point is now all too undemanding, the solutions and the main of questions in this communicate board let us know of the bigger fact that the educational device is failing. That a civilized u . s . can produce a brunch of semi-literates asking and answering questions of such brilliance as: each and every end of the worldwide 2012 question, questions against evolution and the enormous Bang theory, why did my female buddy (boyfriend, canine, cat or in spite of the fact that) wreck up with me, etc.

It relieves my boredom. I don't look for topics too controversial or depressing. After a while, I get bored with answering questions too.

More or less the same, but it depends on what I see. Stupid questions, flamebaits, horrible spelling and the like tend to annoy me.
