The intensity of a valid wave is represented by technique of Watts/meter^2. the quantity of power it really is transported previous a given element of the medium in preserving with unit of time is popular because the intensity of the sound wave. The more effective the amplitude of vibrations of the debris of the medium, the more effective the speed at which power is transported by skill of it, and the more effective extreme that the sound wave is. intensity is the ability/time/section; and when you consider that the ability/time ratio is equivalent to the volume power, intensity is merely the ability/section.
