if they find out that you filed a false police report and knew it was false, its considered criminal and you will be arrested.

The person who falsified the report should take immediate steps to correct the falsehood and inform the police. It can only get worse as time goes on, and if it becomes a very newsworthy event, the falsehood teller could be make headlines that will make them wish they were never born.

1) Hope you are not recognised by anyone reading this ;)

2) You can get into as much trouble as the person who may have committed the offence, due to holding back important information, or even protecting the criminal from the crime!

3) If everyone else involved gives a different account of the events, you're report will stick out like a sore thumb (as you have not told the whole truth), and they will come back for you!

Yipes! You will be arrested, if they find out you falsified the report. So, maybe the best thing to do would be talk to an Attorney pronto.

You could go to jail or do community service. See Boy George in NYC clean up trash for lying about someone breaking in his room...or the Run Away Bride...

Rape is very serious and should not be lied about...

the trial will tell if they are convicted for the crime and found out that you lie on the report then they can be released and you can be charged and go to jail for it
