Joe Montana by far the only thing Namath did beter than Montana was play the media.

This is a very easy question. It is not even close. Montana was far superior to Namath. I think Marino or Bradshaw or Aikman come closer to Montana than Namath does.

Montana has 13000 more yds. 273 tds 139 ints. Namath has 173 tds and 220 ints. I think that says everything right there. And montana only played for 2 yrs longer.
