I was an extra on the Welsh soap Pobl Y Cwm many years back. Made a lot of noise, ate lots of crisps and walked about behind the main action.
I was also asked some old bird's age fon 10 Years Younger - went for 53 and she was 42.

My friends and I from high school were on some political show on BBC Scotland which got us to ask the Tory ex-minister Cecil Parkinson questions. He had recently admitted he had been dismissed for having it away with his secretary and the Falklands War was a controversial issue for the Thatcher government. My pals and I took the mickey out of him during and after the show and the producer had to drag him out of the studio. We had a laugh and our teacher did not know about it because she was smoking in the Green Room. She was not too pleased when she saw it on TV.

Walking over London Bridge when they were filming & asking people questions for the news.
Walking in the background past the Millennium Dome, again when news crews were filming for TV news.
In the film "About a Boy" starring Hugh Grant - in the scene where he's walking against the crowd over London Bridge - I'm in that crowd somewhere.

Yes, twice, once in a documentary made for BBC 2 for schools, I worked in a factory making socks for Marks and Spencer and they decided to do an educational film for school leavers, we had to show how working for the first time after leaving school made a difference to our life, very boring but fun to make, our payment, a free pair of socks, great we could just take them anyhow.
Second time, at the same factory we were on strike over a guy been sacked for having an opinion over his nasty supervisor, we all came out in support of him and Calander News came and filmed us all sat on a wall having a meeting, more fun than the education film.

I went on a media course and around eight of us made a five minute film on perceptions, I was camera man but I starred in it for around a minute, I opened the film by showing a magic trick of a cola bottle with water in it, I turned the bottle over and the water stayed in the bottle, I then proceeded to push match sticks in the opening of the bottle and the matches flood to the top of the bottle. I then tilted the bottle the right way round and poured the water out. It was shown on YCTV. that's my claim to fame.

Not sure! I went to Ascot years ago with a group of friends and relatives. I didn't have a hat so shouldn't have been wearing one.
When I got home my Mom said she thought she saw me on the TV whilst watching the racing but it couldn't have been me as this person had a black hat on.
I said I borrowed a hat off Pat, so it could've been me, we'll never know.

I was on the news in a military parade for the closing of RAF Coltishall. I just marched past the camera as part of a Squadron on parade, carrying a rifle with bayonet fitted.
