I suppose you want to point out that the acid didn't dissolve the bottle.

You need to re-phrase the question, it isn't phrased correctly to come to any conclusion.

It is quite possible an acid which dissolves diamond (a carbon based structure) would not dissolve a glass bottle (a silicon based structure). We store most acids in glass bottles because they eat away plastics. Hydrofluoric Acid is stored in plastic containers because it dissolves glass.

However, it depends on what you mean by "he has suceed to get" -- if get means purchase, I would believe it. If get means to creat a new and more powerful acid, I would not believe it. Such an invention would not be at a science fair. That is not how chemists get their work known.

well.... he doesn't really specify how much of the hardest substance... and if he said can desolve the hardest substance then that doesn't necessarily mean that it can dissolve any other substance. so pretty much he needs the worlds strongest acid(according to Nature mag. said it is something called "carborane acid") that will dissolve some (possibly small) amount of diamond (carbon) in a minutes time. sounds possible to me...

No, if it could dissolve the hardest substance, which is diamond correct? (not sure about that) Then wouldn't it also dissolve the bottle it is being contained in?

No

If it can dissolve the worlds hardest substance, how can it be contained by mere glass?

"R U beleive on it???"

I believe that you meant to say "Do you believe it?", right?
