I second the job. Plus, jog to school. You'll look hot on the scooter once you can afford it ;D

Ask yourself this one question - If someone bought me a scooter and I don't have a job, "How will I pay for gas/petrol and maintenance for it?" Ask your parents to buy you a ten speed bicycle. That's what most of us used until we could afford to buy a piece of junk car or motorcycle for $500.

maybe it's different outside the US, but a scooter isn't as cool as you think it is. stay with a bike or a motor bike. NO SCOOTER! if you can't afford no push your parents for it. get a job.

Wow, your 17? You seem really immature. But, anyways.. Have you thought about GETTING A JOB!!! hello!! They shouldn't buy it for you if they had the money, you could get off your butt and pay for it yourself. If you don't want to walk ride with a friend or ride your bike.

Dude, get a job and buy it yourself!! If your parents say they don't have the money, they most likely don't. Get over it, get a job, and you could save enough to buy it yourself within a few months. Geeeesh.... good luck ;)
