YOU CAN TAKE IBUPROFEN AND ACETAMINOPHEN AT THE SAME TIME. MY DAUGHTER HAD A HIGH FEVER THAT WOULDN'T RESPOND TO JUST ONE OF THE MEDS SO THE DR SAID I CAN GIVE HER BOTH. AND IT WORKED. ITS NOT DANGEROUS, THEIR 2 DIFFERENT MEDS.

Tylenol or Ib-profen. Take the correct amount, repeat in 4 hours. Drink cool liquids, do not use lots of blankets to cover up.

Don't stress on the number too much. Stay hydrated, the fever is actually working to fight your infection or illness. If it does go up, however, then call the dr. as over 102 is too high for an adult.

Ibuprofen works best to reduce a fever, in my experience anyway. If you still have a fever you can alternate Ibuprofen and tylenol every 4-6 hours (take the lowest dose). My dr. has us do that for the kids when they are sick. Hope you feel better!!

Take a cool (not cold) bath and take some Tylenol. Tylenol has a fever reducer in it, I believe.

extra strength tylenol. Advil works too. If the fever doesn't go down at all, you should see a doctor.

Motrin works faster than tylenol. Also a cool shower. Hope you feel better!

Take a coolish bath and add rubbing alchohol to your bath--it's green, I think. My husband did that to himself one time, and his fever went right down. I think he added two whole bottles. It will not hurt you, I promise!
