Yes. He and Orlando Bloom look too good in the Pirates movies. I never thought Johnny Depp was attractive till i saw him dressed up as a dirty drunken pirate. lol. He makes a very, very, good pirate.

Although Pirates of the Carib, Dead mans chest was not a particularly good movie, Johnny Depp makes a great pirate, he is handsome, sexy, talented and i would even go so far as to say Johny Depp is a very gifted actor. I see big things in the future for him. I think he is one of the biggest stars of our time.. take note everyone, you watched Johnny Depp when he was just starting out. i understand your infatuation with the handsome charismatic johnny depp pirate caricature.. he may be the best comedic pirate ever but there have not been many funny pirates. better pirate actors there have been though. depp does put on one fantastic show. because he is so handsome, funny, charming and because of all of that money he made i will call him the king of all pirates. yes indeed, he is the best ever.

He is definitely one of the best. Though, I have to say I also admire Errol Flynn and Douglas Fairbanks as pirate too. And who can forget Westley as the Dread Pirate Roberts?

WOAH! HE RULES, he is the best pirate i have seen, especially in the first movie when he does the amazin dive into the water when keira knightely falls from on top of the cliff.

Not the best..but he is damn good! I don't think anyone else could've pulled off Jack Sparrow quite like that. He's a foxy man..even when he's all drunk and grungy! He's a great actor. I loved him in Secret Window.
