Zidane I think lost his temper when someone used wrong words, how would you react to such abuse?
Each and every religion has some custom, ritual, etc, which is different from others, and most humans tend to look down and laugh at these differences. You too seem to wear the same shoes.

Muslim women wear veils because it promotes modesty, Jewish people use to also dress in similar fashion. But yes it is so that they do not direct the thoughts of a man unto their physical selves in a sexual way.
people may think then why the veils and hoods?? well when this dress was used by the jews, prostitutes use to dress without their veils and hoods, so it was seen also as a dishonor for women to dress this way.

I'm a Muslim woman and i don't ware a veil ... its a personal choose where i come from... i hate people how makes remarks about Islam or Muslims women are treated here better than any Western women ever could dream before you all try to judge us and make a stupid ignorant remark about Islam or Muslims try to research first....

Primarily due to lack of education. Only few among muslim countries (royal families and government officials only) were able to send their son/daughter in school outside of the ME. Those who studied in their local school are considered far behind when we talked about civilization. The rate of illeteracy in this countries, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc. are very high. Would you believe, in Saudi Arabia, there are local men who became old and died without seeing a face of a woman? Yes, its true.

I'm sure most don't ... but between the Zidane head-butt, their meltdown over the Danish cartoons, the flag-burnings, all the terrorism -- it seems that certain Muslims have some anger-management issues.
