There are many other forms of birth control: The pill, the patch, the shot, etc. But, without a condom you're putting yourself at high risk of contracting an STD. Be careful.

well safe sex = condoms. Condoms are the only way, besides abstinence, to prevent contracting a sexually transmitted disease. If you are talking about preventing pregnancy only, meaning you are absolutely POSITIVE whoever you are sleeping with is faithful, and they have been tested since they became faithful, then there are many different types of birth control. Just ask your gyno which one is right for you. But condoms are still the best way to be safe.

There are many options available to you. Vaginal film, the sponge, female condoms and foam are all available over the counter. You'll need a doctor's prescription for a diaphragm, the Pill, the Patch, shots (Depo-Provera being the most common one), or an IUD.
Know your partner, get tested, and make sure that you're having sex with someone you respect and who respects you. Be safe, be happy, and be healthy!

a condom is the most effective way to prevent pregnancy and stds. but if you don't like using it, there are other methods of contraception. there is the female condom that inserts into the vaginal canal. there is of course the pill. then there is spermicide and now they are making the plan b pill available over the counter.

Abstinence. The term safe sex means safe against more than pregnancy. You don't wanna get herpes or AIDS/HIV or the Clap or any number of curable and uncurable diseases. Some take months or even years to show up and by the time you realise it you could have infected many more people.

To prevent pregnancy alone - the coil, female condom, the pill, the cap, the injection - however all of these do not protect against std's

Birth control pills or spermicide for the girl, but the best way is to not have sex at all because the risk of getting a girl pregnant is always there no matter what you do.

female condom, the sponge, the pill, the patch, IUD, Depr-provera and of course abstenince but the birth control devices do not protect against STDs and nothing other than abstenince is 100% effective against pregnancy

Don't have sex or use a condom. Or you could take your chances with getting an std or pregnant or both.
