Villa have a load of young talent, who`s to say O`Neil won`t get the best out of them, Villa will be in the top half of the table this season, with good cup runs.Next season will be different back to a top 6 side with every chance of qualifying for the champions league, which by the way Villa have been crowned champions of europe unlike the so called big guns Chelsea and Arsenal.

Aston Villa, hasn't got a lot of good players like Wayne rooney, Lampard or Terry. They are a mixture of random average players from all over the world. I recon the season will be average at first and get better eventually. They will get approximately 58 points in total and finish 10th in the premiership table. Unfortunately, I am not certain at all.

not much difference as Aston Villa is now the underachievers in the English Premier League. with the new manager & the recent take over, their fans must now be hoping that their fortune could be better this season.

if they finished in the European places (7th place & above) it will be a massive improvement for the club. if not, a top 10 finish.

We will do better than last season (cant do much worse)
To be honest this first season will probably be a bit slow, but with the millions promised (by whoever takes over) and MON at the helm we will be one of the big boys again in a couple of years, especially now that Deadly has finally gone.

UP THE VILLA!!

It might take him a bit of time to build the team but they should be breaking into the top 10..He's a great manager aston villa should count themselves lucky!

Better than last year! - They have pulled off a wonder stroke by appointing O'Neill. I had the privilege of sitting in on a team talk of his with one of his former clubs at half time (obvioulsly I wasn't playing) but when he had finished he made me think that I could go out and play and be good enough - he has an amazing man management talent, he builds up those needing an arm round them, and he puts down those who show off and they give him the best by it. Stan Collymore who was not the easiest to handle thought he was Mr Wonderful (but hated John Gregory!!)

With a few quid to spend too it should be very good for Villa and expect all the ones that nearly left (Barry, Hendrie) etc to stay

With Martin O'Niell as the manager the sky is the limit! I think he has to be one of the top managers in the game! Every team he goes to seems to have a much higher level of success then before he arrives! If you combine that with some good signings they could be a top 6 team! If they don't get any new players then they could still make the top 8 with him as manager!

If no new players, than better than midway, but not top 6. If new players, it depends on his transfer kitty. As a Celtic fan, I know MON can be frustrating in the transfer market, but he does make great buys. He is known for getting teams to punch above their weight, so who knows how far Villa can go?

precise 0.5 possibly. however the precise 6 is basically going to get tougher to break now especially via money and status. i will work out United, city, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool being the precise 6 for the foreseeable destiny. I doubt you would be relegated... besides the undeniable fact that it may well be intense-high quality to get a competent old Cov v Villa tournament on the flow... basically like old cases ;-)
