Hi!
In 1973 I was lucky to be an exchange-pupil from Hamburg, Germany (west, in those days, of course) at the Cardinal Newman School in Coventry.
Since I´m on the net, I looked up all the telephone-books of Coventry and surrounding.
No match found for anyone by the name of "Bryck"

Sometimes placing an ad in a local paper will work. Even if the family doesn't see it, someone who knew them might see it and be able to help.

Contact the agency that set up your exchange program. Perhaps they have contact information for the family.

Since this is out of the country, I really don't know where else to go except perhaps checking with old neighbors and friends to see if anyone knows their whereabouts.

You could always send a letter to their old address. I don't know what happens to the mail in Germany, but maybe the new people know where the Brycks moved to and forward the letter to them.

Good luck!
