I'd love to help you (I play/teach piano) but I'm afraid I don't quite understand your question. By 'hand technique' do you mean 'hand position' or 'scales and triads'?

put your hands out and bend your fingers over the keys. you should be able to hold a small candy on the back of your hand while you play.

Always play on the tips of your fingers and arch your wrist. Hope that helped! I've been playing for five years and I love it! Have fun. God bless!

Notice the natural curve of your fingers. You should have a relaxed, curved hand position.
