Ooo..I'm sorry girl! I had the same thing happen when I was switching birth control pills, looking for the one that suited me best. Just try to keep aware of what you are saying and doing, I know it's hard, but being aware is half the battle. Take time to yourself, and just withdraw and try to keep quiet and focused on something happy if you get into a situation that makes you escalate. At work, use something comforting to give yourself a mood-boost (like a cup of tea or a nice stretch, just focus on it and how comforting it is). Don't take anything too seriously right now...especially relationship stuff! Remember you'll be a different person (yourself again!) once you get this worked out, so no point in asserting your opinion right now, you might have to eat your words later.

Talk to your doctor right away about trying another kind of pill. My favorite by far was Apri - it's gentle and it didn't give me bad side effects.

Are you on a full dose of Lexapro or a half? If you are on a half, talk to your doc about upping it to a full dose. If you are already on a full dose, see if the doc can temporarily prescribe you some Xanax to get you through the rough spots.

oh my gosh you know what i feel you you need to talk to you're doc a.s.a.p you know whats the worst about p.m.s when its over you're left with the feelings of guilt for the bad behaviour its almost worse than the cramps,I'm almost at the end of a pregnancy and my recent mood swings are the equivalent of my menstrual mood swings people don't expect fire breathing from a soon to be mom all round and big blue eyes screaming all over the place, its funny to see their jaws hit the floor in awe at my recent hissy fit i feel bad but i invite every and all judges to have a huge lump bounce up and down on their bladder to see how they feel at the end of the day,the same applies for periods i would love to see how a man would feel about throbbing ovaries shedding the uterine lining and profuse bleeding for three days ha,don't sweat it girlfriend since the future of the human race lies solely on women's shoulders i say we take back our right to be bitchy cause if men had to be the ones making babies there would be no human race
