My pc keeps rebooting itself all the time and it doesnt fully load to the desktop, when we got it back up all the files were erased but then it kept rebooting itself again and never finishing loading, now we bought a new pc and im using the same monitor with the old one and it keeps turning off and this time it does fully load to the desktop? any suggestions ?? i think its a virus or the monitor ?? could a storm maybe have messed up the monitor ??? and its affecting the pc ? can that happen?? the monitor keeps flicking on and off. help please

Buy a new monitor. Your old PC sounds like it had malfunctioning hardware or a virus. The old monitor sounds like it's causing you problems with your new PC.

Before buying a new monitor, make sure it's not the cable connecting the monitor to the PC. It can also be the power cord?

i think is the monitor's problem. can check the wiring or the swtich for the monitor.
