when I was checking them off this morning I notice I have no boy things, should I still go with what I have, or wait untill I can buy some boy stuff.
I dont want the boys to feel left out?

i work at a childrens home and i think if you do what feels right in your heart you will be fine. I'm sure that there have been time when someone has donated things for boys only. you will be fine with what u have .and it will be very appreciated

You should definitely give what you have. Some people will have boy things and no girl things. The boys won't feel left out, because the workers there don't announce to the whole place, "Hey, we got a bunch of stuff here, let's see what's here." They go through all the donations they get, and give it out when they see a need. Just feel good about doing your part, which is giving what you have to give, and be at peace knowing that the right people will take it from there and make the best use of your donation. Good for you, your heart's in the right place!

Chances are that someone else is dropping off boy stuff. I'm sure the childrens home appreciates every type of donation. You're a gem for donating!

i would still give it because its for sure someone has already dropped off just boy stuff before, they usually give the kids the stuff they need like clothes and put toys in a big toy cheast for all to enjoy i wouldnt worry besides how much more left out can they feel their parents abandoned them, kids in care are unusually understanding

The boys will not feel left out. Someone else may have many "boy things" but no girl things. It all works out. Thank you for reminding me to do my part.
Lots of love,
Cathy

Its better if you donate those items and it is much more better if you buy for them something (for both boys and girls) because what you are doing is just given away something which you probably could have thrown it away. The real charity really lies when you spend from your money

I agree, give what you have. They will be happy with anything. If it is someone you know, however, (a family) you could call them ahead of time. I doubt they would expect you to buy anything new.
Even the smallest donations can really help, trust me, I know.

i think it's lovely thing that you are doing

Give what you can as soon as you can. Someone else may very well be giving boy's things, but not girl's things.
