Whenever you watch a show or movie that takes place in New York it never fails that they're looking for someone who is at a Bodega. Is it an apartment? a store?

It's a Spanish convenience store. You won't only find them in New York; you'll find them in any area that has a large Spanish population.

We use that word in the Philippines too. It's a Spanish term for a Storage room in a house or factory. Sort of like an attic but located at the ground floor or basement.

Buildings have Bodegas too.

A bodega is a store usually ran by Spanish people. It stays open all night and they sell just about everything.

it's a small deli or neighborhood store, other people call them other things usually they are the OPTIMO stores in New York City.

its a store usually ran by somebody of the spanish speaking descent...they have them all over..different places call them different thangs
