Hi just come back from Menorca, never been before i would highly recommend "SA CALETA" on the west coast side of the island. only a 20/25min walk from Ciutadella a nice quite resort ideal for the family not over commercialised.
We stopped a the Blanc palace hotel/apartments, very nice.(Sa caleta)
Plenty of reliable clean air conditioned buses running about every 10 mins at peak time in the day, all fares 1.20/1.30 euros

relies upon what you opt for for to do on trip. I went to Menorca 3 years in the past, and seven days became adequate, small Island with no longer lots to do, lots choose Ibiza and Majorca. don't be placed off by utilising the nightclubs and rowdyism, flow to the main suitable section and luxuriate in.

Calla n Bosch is very nice, also Calla n Forcat. Cuidadella is a nice place to visit. Historic buildings etc.
