I am giving it a go in an attempt to sort various symptoms but mainly my tummy troubles that have been ongoing for the last 5/6 years. I researched it on t'internet and am really keen to try it as have been in and out of doctors surgeries and hospitals for years with no luck :-( However the diet seems so strict-I am worried I wont be able to stick to it and then not cure myself...

Has anyone any experiences with it they can share?

I haven't used it, but I've seen it. It's always good to cut out excess sugar and processed flour, but you don't necessarily have to go as strict as the diet wants you to. Try some beneficial bacteria tablets or yogurt (not sweetened with sugar or artificial sweetener) to help out w/candida issues in your gut and yeast infections. I've even heard of yogurt "douches" and boric acid pessaries--messy, but I guess it would work.

I guess try it and see if it helps. If it works, then you can try a few alterations to the diet and see what you can get away with eating to maintain the benefits of the diet. You may be able to "cheat" on it a little.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Candida is yeast. Do you have a yeast infection of tummy troubles? Try taking acidophilus supplements - they should help both! Can be purchased at Wal-mart - very cheap and very safe to take.
