I'm also thinking that my colors should be Brown and Gold or Silver & turquoise. The best answer will win an invite to the party. Expense paid if not in Texas!! Oh yeah, I also need to download a special drink for everyone to sip for my B-DAY toast, something fruity or mixed!! PLEASE HELP!! I need 2 start planning NOW!!

Wow! Sounds like a lot of fun! Turning 30 is a milestone, one which you will always remember, so why not have a blast?
Too risky? Well, life is all about risks. Enjoy being young!
You may want to let your guests know that you cannot be held accountable for any accidents which occur while on
board. Also, check your guest list for any non-swimmers...just in case.
Silver & turquoise are wonderful, youthful colors to use. Your menu sounds great. A DJ would take less space than a full band, and can play any request...good idea.
How about having a big happy b-day banner to display on the side of the yacht? A local printing shop is the place to look for one.
As for the toast drink....keep in mind that most men don't like fruity, sweet drinks; however, if it is only one drink, they will survive it!
Happy Birthday to you well in advance!

Well done. I wanted to dIE when I turned 30. Embrace it. I turned 40 this year and had a fabulous party. My invites where a mock cover of Vogue. Maybe you can get everyone to dress in your theme colours and then you dress in a special colour ie white. Or have an all white dress theme you wear another colour. Make sure the colour of your drink is included in your theme and give it a name relevant to you. I had a fabulous D.J. friend burn me two different sorts of Cd's then I had fabulous covers made up and labels and gave them out as gifts to all those who attended. I also had a huge album with individual photos of everyone attending attached to a separate page. Each person was asked to contribute a story etc on how they met me or adventures we had been on. I filled it in with the photos from the day and its a fabulous keep sake. Maybe have a few events on your yacht-
Massage Angels who do seated massage .Good luck. HAPPY birthday, Oh I live in Australia.. Enjoy

I think it sounds like a great way to celebrate your Birthday. I like the Silver & Turquuoise colors better than the brown & gold. I think Malibu Rum & Pineapple juice is a great drink. I love them. Just be careful with the drinking that no one goes over board. If you can afford it go for a party planner. they really are not that expensive. And can be a lot of help. We used one for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. Good Luck and Happy Birthday. Have a blast.

I think thats a great idea! it soudns liek it woudl be alot of fun... i'm not a huge fan of the mix of silver and gold. but as long as you like it.... and my favorite drink is called Sweet oblivion... its an awesome social drink.. its served in a pitcher.. and it is a mix of vodka, white rum, tequila, (and i think one other liquor) with soda water and lime juice, ice and slices of green apple.... its great. you let the apples soak in the liquor and after every one has poured a drink you all sit and munch onthe apples while you drink. YUM
Happy Birthday.. i hope you have a good time!

That sounds like a great birthday..Just make sure all safety measure are in place..Try Gold and purple for colour.
The best drink is called melon splice.
You get 30mls of melon midori ( the green one)
30mls of malibu rum (with coconut)
30mls of wipping cream (not wipped)
150mls of pineapple juice
Handful of crushed ice.
Mix it all together in a blender and enjoy the smooth texture..
MMMMM

GET GOOD INSURANCE . AND MAKE EVERYONE SIGN A WAIVER THAT WILL HELP . THE WAIVER SHOULD STATE THAT YOU ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYONE WHO FALLS OVERBOARD OR WHO HAS AN ACCIDENT . ALSO MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OVER THE CONTRACT WITH THE YACHT COMPANY TO SEE WHAT IS COVERED , IN CASE SOMEONE DECIDES TO GET STUPID ( BEER MUSCLES ) AND TEAR THE PLACE APART . AS FOR A DRINK TRY CHAMPAGNE WITH A DASH OF CHAMBORGE , DELICIOUS , AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY !

To me it's a great idea. But a little piece of advice; just don't take your yacht too far from shore.

it may be - heavenly. LOL it may be on a coastline at sunset - always - with the sky all complete of reds, golds, and blues. each individual I ever loved, loved, or lusted after might want to be there. There might want to be no pettiness or jealously and everyone might want to get alongside. There might want to be song playing, and larger food than you may shake a stick at (and that is an rather good type of food).

Well its a good idea but honestly I don't think it will hold 60? It would have to be quite a large one?
I have included an online cocktail recipe website for you to make those drinks.
Many happy returns!

Brilliant idea :D I am sure you'll have fun :D You're 30 but that doesn't mean you cannot do things like that. You're in best age one could wish for. Happy birthday, have fun and good luck :)
