I think any well known name brand will do; but any steam iron
that has an automatic shut off should really be considered.

I just bought a new iron. And although I hate, really hate ironing, I love this one. The model I bought has a seperate water container, which contains about 1 litre, and produces lots of steam. Yes, it was expensive, but it cuts the ironing time in half. Almost a miracle.

I wouldn't"t give up my Rowenta for anything. It may cost a bit more but I love to iron and it is most definitely the best iron I have ever tried.
read the customer reviews on the site below.
P.S. I bought mine on eBay used for $59.00
