Stop blaming Muslims every time for what the non-muslims do
I mean that Muslims give great respect to the womens as they have the right to do a job, to have a equal part in the father properties
Before Islam came women was treated with no respect ,and was burried alive after birth ,It was Islam who gave guidence to the humans to not to treat them badly & provide justice to the womens
Islam is so much concerned about womens that it doesn't let men to see women and enjoy their beauty. That's why Islam has orderd women to cover them selves completely so a man can't even see the diamond [women] & wish to steal it

Yes, very much. Some of them have more than one wife. But that is not an acception - some other religions have that too. Christianity too - Eve was born from Adam's rib. If it weren't for Adam, according to the Bible, Eve would not exist. She owes him. Besides, she ate the fruit of temptation.

I would have to agree with hints_dont_work - the problem is not with Islam but with society in general. Just look at women in the US: how many are in the Congress; how many are on the boards or are CEO's of major corps?

AS A MUSLIM GIRL, I CAN ANSWER THAT AND SAY YES. THE WAY WE ARE TREATD IS DIFFRNT TO MEN. THEY SEE THEMSELVES AS BEING GREATER THAT WOMEN. I ALSO THINK THAT BECAUSE THEY ARE ALLOWED HAVE MORE THAN ONE WIFE IT IS A DISGRACE. DOES THAT NOT MEAN THE SPREAD OF H.I.V AND STDS AMONGST PEOPLE??? I THINK SO. Of course, people are always scared of what they don't understand so to make up for this they've embraced this philosophy. They've even fabricated this whole "virgins in heaven" geek fantasy to make up for their lack of knowledge in the real world.

yes because they're completely out of touch with modern times and morals and they like it that way(that's the worst part of it).
there's something wrong with them -we know it and they know it too - all in the name of religion - it's ridiculous!
