Depends on which polar region, north or south. Antarctica has penguins (which eat fish) but no polar bears. The Arctic Ocean has polar bears (which eat fish and seals) but no penguins. Other polar animals include seals (which eat fish and some birds), and birds such as some terns, geese and puffins. Many whales can be found in colder waters, and there is a wide range of fish. The diets of these creatures varies from plankton to krill to fish to sea mammals.
Caribou, moose and some sheep live in the arctic regions of North America. They eat grass and shrubs. (Moose particularly like willow and pond grass.) Wolves hunt caribou.
Hope that helps!
