Just wondering, should we sue Mr. Coffee for making HOT coffee? Or all the other coffee maker manufacturers and restaurants that have HOT coffee? Hey, who can I sue if I spill HOT coffee on myself that I made at HOME????????

What I am saying is, if you order HOT coffee, it is going to be HOT. Maybe the question should be has common sense left us... or are we all wanting to be millionaires from being "sue happy"? I am an EMT and have not once seen anyone burn themselves with Hot Coffee. Our parents taught us that HOT would BURN.

LATEST NEWS: a Lawyer sued Starbuck's because he spilled hot coffee on himself, burned him. Starbuck's appealed, they lost, again. This was on this AM on the news. That is why this isn't in the food category. Thanks for asking.

Yeah, and when I miss the toilette can I sue. And if I dart out into traffic and get hit, that driver needs to be sued; and when I fail math, the math teacher is to blame; when i get a paper cut I'm suing Mead.

I think if you lose a law suit you have to pay the opposing sides legal fees. STOP FRIVOLOUS LAW SUITS!!!!

I'm sorry to inform you but someone has already sued for spilling extremely hot coffee on themselves. Now all coffee should be modified to a WARM degrees in temperature. And I don't think you can sue anyone for spilling coffee on yourself at home. Just because it would be plain idiotic.

What is your point?

There is a big difference between hot and liquid so overheated it'll raise blisters and peel skin off. Safe warm temp vs crazy skin-killing hot!
