The Non-Existence Knight. It's similar humor to Monty Python.
I've also read exerts from A Confederacy of dunces and me talk pretty one day that were very funny.
Also anything by Dave Barry or either of Bruce Campbell's two books are very funny.

David Sedaris' Me Talk Pretty One Day. Hysterical short story collection. Other entertaining titles include Hugh Laurie's The Gun Seller, Dodie Smith's I Capture the Castle (though the other events lead for an overall bittersweet tone), and Christopher Moore's Lamb (though it is possible that it may offend some).
