I had a miscarrige on July 18th. My doctor said I could start trying right away since I did not need a d&c. I have not gotten a period yet and I am having pregnancy symptoms. My breasts have been sore for about 2 weeks and I've been having light period like cramps for a week and a half now. With my regular period it runs every 28 days (never late) and my breasts are usually sore a few days before I get it. I also start cramping the day before my period. Could I be pregnant again so soon? How much longer should I wait to take a pregnancy test?

Sorry to read about your miscarriage. You can definitely get pregnant as soon as you decide. Your body will automatically give you the green signal.

You may or may not be preganant. A miscarriage often takes several weeks to run it's course, so you may be feeling residual effects from it. Because you so recently miscarried, a home pregnancy test may or may not be as accurate as it ususally is. My advice is to contact your doctor - they'll probably let you know either when to test or when to come in for a blood test. Best wishes and good luck!

I would wait at least 2 more weeks and if you do not have another period then get a home pregnancy test.
