because they don't have a horse and want one, so the family pet becomes a subsitute. Buy them the real thing and it will stop.

they are pretending they are riding a pony or horse, the family pet is the next best thing.....work with what you got, I always say

it sounds like the kids are retarded and don't even understand basic animal types and functions-i'd send them to a special facility and sell the pet or at least get it into counseling.
