To be honest I'm too busy enjoying the world I'm living in now. Yeah it might end then, it might end later, it might never end, i mean have you ever met someone that can actually see into the future? People love to scare us about whats going to happen. Last night I watched an extremely interesting programme on what would happen if London was hit by extreme flooding and it ws a programme from which I learnt a lot, but the reality is going to happen is very slim. If you spend too much time worrying about what you think might happen in the future, you will miss out on the things that are happening now.

No.

There have been at least three times in my life when they set a date when the world was going to end. One was when i was on a field trip in France, the other was 01/01/2000 and the third was 06/06/06. This sort of thing comes up every 3 years or so, u never here from the people that got it wrong again tho do u!

actually the Mayan prediction of the end of days refers to the end of a 26,000 yr cycle coinciding with the end of a global precession,(full rotation of the earth's tilted axis) and does not mean an end of the earth.

where the experts are wrong is in misinterpreting the image of the sun, moon, and a crone pouring water all over the earth. in ancient cultures water is LIFE!! The sun and moon are the male and female aspects of the creator, and the crone is death, but all three are shown pouring fresh waters, (new life) upon the earth.

True there will be escalating solar storms that may knock out all the satellites and power grids on the planet, but we will learn, and evolve from it, not vanish in a mass extinction on DEC 21 2012.

I am a strong believer in that yes.. however I am also heavy in Nostradmus and according to him the world will not end until 3025 which seems a little far off but I wouldn't doubt that either... Live your life to it's fullest until 2012 I guess!

NO, this world ending things have go on for centuries....
The world will not end that year, as it didn't end last July of this year...
So don't listen to those silly things about world end, maybe life in the world will end, but the planet will still go on!
Have a nice day!

Well, yeah. Just like the world ended in 1000AD, and again in 2000AD. I think I believe the Mayans more than I believe the Christians, but not much. The world will end when it ends. Not before, not after. If you believe in the Bible, "No man knoweth the time of the end". If you don't, well, then who cares?

I'm usually a big pessimist, but that's just absurd... Nobody knows when the world is going to end. Only if you have a plan to destroy the Earth!

According to the Mayans it is but not everyone believe it! I guess we'll just have to wait until december 2012 to see who's right!
