Well, him taking you out is a good sign. You know that he used to like this other girl. Hey, you said used to, right? So he liked this girl before. Maybe he could like you. Who knows maybe he was just pretending that he liked this girl to make you jealous. Deep inside his heart it's you whom he likes.
There are signs if this guy likes you. Asking you out to eat, hang out in the mall. Asking you out means he wants to spend his time with someone who is special to him. A special friend or maybe more than that.

He is asking you out a lot to go to the movies.......that is a BIG sign.
