This is pretty easy.
First, you have to work out how many days Sanjay worked in a week.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
Next, sort the days into weekdays and weekends. So, that's 3 weekdays (Thur, Fri, Mon) and 2 weekends (Sat, Sun).
Finally, just do the math.
Earning per week
= (30 x 3) + (45 x 2)
= 90 + 90
= $ 180.

$30+$30=$60
Saturday=$45

Hence the total income could be 165. or 180 as according to other people calculation to include sat as weekend.
Under the law, the only recognisable weekend is actually sunday. hence saturday even though an employee goes to work for only 4 hours, he is still paid based on a day's rate already. Hence the 45 does not apply.
at the same time, one must take note of where the week begins. as some part of the world begin their work week from sunday and not monday. hence then the saturday is 45 wherelse the other days are fixed at 30.
Please note that you are also assuming a daily paid worker. However, in the event of singapore context having a regular work time of 44 hours and 5 days week. a request for a weekend work cannot be paid at 45. it must be paid at 60.

Weekdays = 3 (Thursday, Friday & Monday)
Weekends = 2 (Saturday and Sunday)
Amound earned on weekdays = $30 * 3 = $90
Amount earned on weekends = $45 * 2 = $90
