Penis envy. They're mostly (not all b4 I get jumped on for saying this) insecure and think that their willies are just not big enough. Anyone who is feeling a bit self conscious should shave their man parts - it looks bigger. Problem solved.

This is not just a boy thing now is it? Girls are hard to understand too. Comparing yourself to others is a natural human trait, that does not stop when it comes to sex.
Why wouldn't you question how you stand up in the sack compared to other people? I suppose arrogant people wouldn't bother, as they would think 'well I'm excellent, who cares what other people are like'.

As for comparing girlfriends that's not quite the same, because you are not theirs really to critique. You are separate and are therefore allowed to make your own comparisons of yourself. On the other hand I would prefer that a guy that I went out with had thought about all of the possible options for a girlfriend and still chose me. I'd rather that he chose to still go out with me, rather than the people that he was comparing me to. If he would prefer someone else, then I don't want him.

boys are actually very easy to understand... perhaps you just don't understand yourself.
sex - motivates all boys until they are much much older, and some guys just never grow out of it.
food - men generally love food, always a good mood setter.
ego - very precious to a man... it's not so much they want to compare with others, as be told that they where the best you ever had
logic - men are comfortable with anything they can grasp the logic of, hence why they love mechanical things. beyond that, they are out of their depth, and is probably why they have streak of fear of women... they know there is a whole lot more to life that they can't grasp, but a woman can, which can make them competitive, and sometimes bitchy.

of course these are generalisations, but i think most men fall into them.

The word "boyz" is spelled with an "s" at the end and not a "z". It takes no extra effort to press "s" rather than "z" and people wouldn't think you are uneducated. It makes anything you type afterwards meaningless because people think you have an undeveloped juvenile mind.

But in answer to your question.....Boys are not hard to understand...you can't think well enough to understand them...the problem is on your end.

That is actually a modern trend, believe it or not. Look at ancient sculptures and paintings. Men's anatomy was not exaggerated, including the genitalia. This even holds true with the Greeks which certainly were boastful men.

Probably insecurity. Girls tease out male insecurities, in fact, they look for them, so that they can use them to stay in control. Then they go off the boy for letting them be in control.
