I am not amazed that I get it ......I'm amazed that other people don't.....lol

Not really. I'm used to that. People giving out ideas, jokes, etc. and I'm the only that understands. Unfortunately, it can be frustrating because you don't really have anyone to share that idea with and if you do, sometimes they're not some of the brightest people around. But that's life. It's bound to happen.
(Funny thing is, when I read this question title, I thought you met another type of getting it... *wink wink* But I know you'll definitely get my joke because you seem smart enough to.)

I'm embarrassed that i start laughing at something funny in a movie a second or 2 before the rest of the audience.

No. I am usually the only one who gets it. I'm usually the one who goes "Oohhhhh!!!" and then everyone looks at me funny. It kinda sucks actually.
