Every human in the after life has to live forever either in heaven or hell. The only chance we have here is to work hard to be in heaven forever.

This of course is what paradise is all about. According to Isaiah there will come a day when all the people will live forever on a paradise earth. There will be children in that paradise, at least for a little while. Humans will live thousands of years, and be perfect.
I have given that promise of the bible some thought and have decided I would love a chance to live forever in the paradise he describes.
Think of it, literally thousands of years to devote to all the things you would like to do. No fear of death. Para sailing, to playing piano. Mountain climbing, to painting scenery. The list is endless the time is endless. Boredom, that is for the unimaginative.
Yes! In that world I would be willing to live forever. Otherwise where exactly is the exit.

Absolutely not. Yeah you could be the most powerful person in the world but who really wants that? It would be long boring and incredably difficult to watch your family and friends die all around you while you continually are stuck here. Maybe if the world was Zanadu but thats not gonna happen. Plus can you imagine if you still kept aging even though you live forever. The bofy of someone 500 years old does not seem that great to me.

immortally youthful would be the way to go for me. i would stay at the age of 25. not too old and just old enough to drink and have fun. i would not mind watching as my family dies because as it stands right now im the only one in my family. friends are easily replacable so that when they die i wouldnt have to worry. plus if im not aging after 25 i would break contact with them after about ten years or so. i would start bank accounts and live from the interest. then after a while i would invest that money into stoccks and the profit from that would lead me to being able to deposit more money. after a while i would buy all the real estate that i could. the whole world would belong to me! in my free time o would learn all the languages of the world so i could speak to everyine. then i would go around the world and experience all of the cultures. i would put a large portion of my money into developing interstellar space travel so i could go to other planets. heck id buy myself a spaceship and launch into space and just go. seeing as how i cant die even if i run out of oxygen i would just float until i eventually make contact with another race. then they would clone me and id take over their world! a whole race of me! never dying and always expanding! oh how sweet that would be!

No. I read those Anne Rice vampire novels and that did it for me. Maybe 200 years, but probably not. I'd think I'd settle for 100.
Yeah, and that includes if I could stay healthy and *young* the whole time. Too many changes in the world & society in that amount of time.

If you mean live forever and not be able to die, no.
If you mean I could commit suicide when I get bored after about 10,000 years then yes.
Everything gets boring eventually, and living on in a monotonous world solely for the purpose of avoiding death is silly. Living in fear of death is no way to live.

Not sure. I figure it would get lonely and boring living forever considering that I would out live my friends and family. Then there is the "What am I going to do with all this time?" thought.

Immortal only? I would consider it if it includes agelessness, immunity from all forms of illness, indestructibility or regernative ability of any body parts. And of course if my life is content.
If all these are included then I might consider it. Cause it might soon be boring or sad seeing year after year, love ones and friends leaving you.

Of course I would - life is beautiful - I'd have dozens and dozens of kids - after a couple of hundred years I'd retire to Florida and take up meditation to contact the oneness of the universe....
