The only person who can answer this question accurately is your new employer, really. It depends on your contract and/or what you negotiate with him/her.
Even if your contract says that you won't be paid for a month, a lot of new employers will give you an advance which then gets deducted from your official paycheck....so you don't get paid twice for the same period.
Just ask. A lot of employers expect to be asked, and won't mind.
Good luck with job.

depends on when they get paid on how long you'll have to wait for a check. i work for a company that gets paid bi-weekly on the 10th and 25th, but the pay period runs from the 1-15th and the 16th - 31st. if you were to start on the 21st, you wouldn't get paid until the 10th of the following month

Depends on your employer. The last bi-weekly paid job I had paid us at the end of the third week for the first two weeks.

Your boss is in financial hassle and is twiddling with the books, start up finding for a sparkling job and desire you extremely gets a commission as much as the final day you worked. Taking him to courtroom is like attempting to get blood from a turnip, whether it have been attainable it takes too long and expenses too plenty.

depends, are you starting at the beginning of a payperiod, or in the middle? if you satart in the middle, you might only have to work a week until your first check, but if at the beginning, then , yes, you will have to work abvout a month til your first check.
