Hon, I think that is different for everyone. Balance in your life if you are traveling alot and on business...my advice for that would be to schedule time for YOU to have some down time to relax. All that money wont do you any good if you can't enjoy your life. I couldn't help but feel that you were also searching spiritually as well, if that is the case, my best advice would be to find a path that YOU feel comfortable with and one that makes sense to you. I don't know if that was helpful, but I do wish you much happiness! :)

That's a tough question. What do you mean exactly by wanting to balance your life? Do you have too much money, or are you too busy, or do you travel too often? Or do you just have that empty feeling inside? If an embarrassment of riches is your problem then just give some of your money away. I don't know what kind of balance that will give you but I guess it's a start. You could also quit your job and start doing something you like instead. That might help.
You'll have a hard time finding anyone who knows the ideal way to live in the current world. Everybody has issues.

P.S. Oh yeah. You could also try reading this poem called 'Desiderata' by a guy called 'Max Ehrmann'. It's a great life manual. Good luck.

P.P.S. You know what I'll save you the trouble. Here it is:

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

presuming that all these facts are current, ie.. money, travel, busy schedule, etc..,
I would think life would be more balanced if you gave away, what you put into your life.
you like to travel, so find someone who needs to travel for purpose, not enjoyment, and help them. ANONYMOUSLY.
You earn good money, help someone earn money, or give away to a good cause. ANONYMOUSLY.
Balance can only come when you give away as much as you take in.
Then, not only will you receive double back, but life is more joyous.

do not be relentless in the pursuit for $$$.
Take take to smell the flowers along the pathway .. enjoy the morning fresh air.

Finally, stay in a deserted island ..no TV ..internet ...newspapers ...nothing at all ..out of contact with the rest of the world....like Robinson Crusoe
