i've bought a sony vaio laptop...some friends told me it's no good. What do you think about it?

Vaio's are expensive but good kit - the clue is in the brand - Sony tend to rock at whatever they do although it comes at a price.

Have to say that the Vaio screens are some of the best I have seen .. super clear and some of them are BIG!

I am sure it will do all you need.

All the Dells that are exploding used Sony batteries. 4.1 MILLION of them!

try out http://pclinuxos.com on it... see if it isn't up to 50X faster, on all the 1,900 games and programs that are on the LiveCDrom.

Then, load it into a 10 Gb partition, as a dual boot, and grab the 5,000 FREE games and programs off the server!

No, it has a good quality. But HP or IBM are better choices. If you are satisfied with what you bought and in your budget, then it is best.

I think it's brill, the top button on the right and the one down in the bottom left hand corner they are both brill
