I have a lot of stuff, as i have faith in OTC products, as do most Americans. Most people have a mini pharmacy in their cabinet. In fact i have run out of room and there are bottles of pills on the kitchen sink, in the closet, and in the vanity, e.g.

1. Ibuprofen (For general pain)
2. Tylenol (For fevers)
3. Suphedrine (Off brand because its wayy cheaper) Nasal decongestant
4. Diphenhydramine HCL (Off brand again) Antihistamine
5. Caladryl Calamine Lotion (Mosquitos)
6. Melatonin (Excellent sleeping hormone) Havent needed to use it in awhile though
7. Pepto Bismol (Nothing else works for me)
8. Vitamin C and Zinc (To take when i have a cold)
9. Vitamin E capsules for the dogs paws (keeps them smooth)
10. Glucose Syrup (anti-nausea liquid)

I prefer to treat each symptom individually. For example if i have a cold with runny nose i will take an antihistamine, instead of a generic cold pill or cold remedy. There no sense in ingesting extra medicines (including acetaminophen that they use as a filler practically). Plus its much cheaper to buy them seperately. For example Coricidin HBP is just acetaminophen + antihistamine, but they charge $7 a box or more. It costs more because it is just a cold remedy without pseudoephedrine (which is bad for blood pressure).. In reality it should cost less because of less ingredients. Just buy an antihistamine on its own.
