nylon stockings with moth balls tied to the corners of the engine compartment mice rodents hate the smell. one pr of hose should make about 16 little sacks tie under the car too any where you shine a flashlight and see there little calling cards and footprints. Those rodents will eat at the wiring and you will really have problems. Keep water and dog and cat food bird seed out of the same area as the cars.

I have been using D-Con rodent traps. It is a pelletted type and comes in small cardboard trays and you just set them near the thing you don't want destroyed. I always use it around my long term storage things (bikes mostly). Mice can really do some serious electrical damage.

Get two cats, boy and girl. Let them breed. In about 6 months you will have a lot of cats and not many mice. Then, get some heynas. They take care of the cat problem. Then, get a Game Warden to shoot the hyenas. LOL.

Keeping mice out--don't know. But you could set "mouse traps" in the car and check the trap each time you get into the car. Gross?? Yes.
