I guess I get to set the story straight...
In the days of Kayfabe, Wrestlers would wrestle boxers and such (check out Inoki vs. Ali). This was way before wrestling was a big business. This was back in the days where the NWA champ would take on the WWWF champ (World Wide Wrestling Federation, later the WWF, they dropped the wide, and now the WWE). Since most fedrations were regional, it was not uncommon to have your "guy" beat some other regions "guy" as long as you returned the favor in his region. So, here it is...Vincent McMahon SR. (not the current chairman) ATTEMPTED to lure several martial arts/boxers to the wrestling ring to get the heat that the Golden Age of Wrestling had. Bruce Lee was contacted to do a spot(no one is saying who contacted him, but he was contacted to do 1 spot) but said no because he wanted no part of it being that he tried so hard to be taken seriously and, basically, he did not want to hold back or job (lose to someone pre-planned). Also considered at the time were Chuck Norris (a very YOUNG Norris) and Charles Atlas (bodybuilder).

No..At the time of Bruce Lee the WWF was practically non exist ant. What would have been around then was Stu Hart's wrestling(I forget the name of it)and they didn't have alot of money so Im sure they could not have afforded his pay. Also at that time wrestling would have been coinsidered by many as foolish and therefore it would have been almost impossible for them to have offered Lee a contract.

OMG, Bruce Lee would of been way too stable for some stupid Wrestling entertainment business enterprise. Come on get authentic here, it incredibly is Bruce Lee we are speaking approximately. He would have the skill to beat any action picture star that would step foot in front of him. One punch and his opponent would be out chilly, Taker or Brock for that rely. What a stupid question. WWE is basically entertainment with scripts and storylines, Bruce Lee became and nevertheless is a martial arts legend in certainty, in no way in no way ever combination certainty with some thing that may no longer even authentic. basically saying!
