Let me just say that I'm really sorry to hear about your loss! This is a very sad situation.

As the other person has said above, you'll need to contact the e-mail provider where your wife kept her e-mail account. If she had a Yahoo e-mail address (e.g. someone@yahoo.com) that would be Yahoo. Often, but not always, people use e-mail accounts given by their Internet providers.

I am sure the providers will be very open to help you. They might require some sort of documentation to open the account for you, which is reasonable considering that you're asking to get access to somebody elses mail.

Again: really sorry for your loss!

It depends on where the mail account is located!! You should get in contact with providers of the service and explain the situation..

Awwww. I can bring a computer that was in the dump back to life, but, you just rained hard on my parade, dude!

Sorry... how's the child?

But, you asking the wrong folks the question. Ya gotta ask ISP administrators. it will prolly take a Certificate of Death to get in, ya know.

You will have to come up with the answer to her security question, which is usually birthdate or mother's maiden name. You should know those.
