Because the whole world ISN'T laughing. Only the one's that are just as backward as "we" are.

I'll admit that some of the world is laughing, but not, necessarily, the whole world.
Are Britons laughing at the Americans? Are Canadians and Mexicans, both American by virtue of being on the same continent, laughing at Americans (and in essence, themselves)?
Are the Japanese, who have been supplied with state-of-the-art missile defense systems, laughing at Americans?
No, the whole worlds isn't laughing. Just some of the world is laughing. Maybe even hysterically.
PS: Saddam Hussien received American military equipment during the Carter and Reagan administrations.

I would assume that you are probably from Canada by your snotty attitude.But i hate to break it too you kid,not everyone is laughing at us.You can't take our help with every problem in the world,then if you don't agree on one issue,make us out to be Satan.We do alot of good,and if we seem cocky to you,it probably is because WE ARE BETTER THAN YOU,so get over it and know your place.

The whole world is laughing at them??? Bin Ladin. ??? I thought he was steamed at them??? Terrorist laughing ??? They seem more cranky than jovial. Ps I am not an americian. that should give you a clue as to which nationality i am as that is the unifying national Identity of my country.
