They would be treated exactly the same as anybody else. They'd be arrested if the person they hit chose to press charges.

Only the Monarch (i.e. The Queen) can 'do no wrong'. Everyone else is subject to the law. Indeed Princess Anne has criminal convictions for not controlling her dogs and for speeding! Whether Prince Harry 'would' be arrested I know not. When he had the incident with the cannabis nothing at all happened to him.

I think yes, they could be. The difference is if they were to be sent to prison in one of Her Majesty's 'hotels' then it would mean they wouldn't have to go to prison because the queen may say that the Harry is staying with her and he'll be housebound. Anyway, the queen's home is guarded 24/7 so in a way it is like a prison. A very posh one. But seriously, if the royal family committed a crime they'd be covered up so perfectly that even the best detectives couldn't prove anything...

The Queen is above the law - Harry isn't. The Queen would not be arrested, Harry could be.

they would not be arrested but delivered home. if they were to be reprimanded (polite form of addressing the issue), it would be an internal family matter.

example 1: Prince Charles would get drunk on cherry brandy, take his car and drive to Bel-moral (in Scotland) and the servants would never anyone to know where he was. when he was sober, his mother, father or grandmother would have a talk with him that no one ever heard about.

secrecy is sacrosanct (absolutely private) or it used to be.

example 2: Prince Charles was having an affair with Camilla Parker Bohls eight years before he got married with his parent's approval. no wonder Princess Diana was throwing up in the toilet, when she discovered what she had married into. she was a very brave young woman. it is no wonder that when she died, Queen Elizabeth bowed to Diana's casket. that had never been done before in the history of England.

example 3: Queen Mary allowed her husband's mistress to visit him just before he died. it is no wonder that are very few pictures of Queen Mary smiling.

smiling in the British royal family does not always tell the real story.

No one is above the law although the law is upheld in the name and under he banner of Her Majesty The Queen. The Queen would not be arrested as there is the complicated issue and archaic law of treason. A subject can not approach the monarch, let alone lay hands on her. The other members of the family are subjects as we are and are governed by the laws of the land. Many have attended court and been penalized by the judicial system.

if Harry hit some one that person could press charges but if the Queen hit some one ,they would be glad ,as in the olden day it would have been off with their head.
I think they would have diplomatic immunity. I remember princess Anne getting stopped for speeding and I think the 2 police men nearly lost their jobs over it!

nothing if the queen did because the monarch is above the law. I'm not even joking or being an ignorant numpty with a chip on his shoulder, its the truth. If Harry did, well, theoretically he could be, but in reality i very much doubt it.

Why, did Harry hit you?

Princess Anne went to court when her dog attacked somebody so I suppose that means that even the royals aren't above the law.

Harry could be arrested. The queen, as the head of state, couldn't be.

Can you imaging Queenie assaulting someone - That's the Duke job.
