u know i'm noticied that u asking too many questions about police ,jails , sooo on..in dubai...r u with criminal record? or if u planning/intending any thing to do in dubai of what u might be planning of,,,my advise DONT COME , WE WANT DUBAI TO BE PEACEFULCALM CITY AS IT USED TO BE, DUBAI IS A PARADISE ON EARTH

I have never heard of them beating people up. They do send people to jail though, especially for drugs. Entrapment is not a defence there. You try and buy drugs from a cop and you may not see the light of day again. Also they follow Islamic law but are pretty understanding about people from other cultures so we should respect that.

well depends what u did if u were caught in normal crimes like speeding or throwing garbage on road etc they will just fine or if they r in bad mood they will put u in jail for one night and if u r caught harrasing ladies over here than u can have ur pic in news paper u will be famous for harrasing females with a jail term depends on the nationality
and if u are caught by raping some one or drinking in public and disturbing others than get ready to rumble coz they r going to hit rods on ur butts with ur jail terms
