" Listen,
if stars are lit
it means - there is someone who needs it.
It means - someone wants them to be..."

These are words of Russian poet Vladimir Mayakovsky

Most people live their entire lives without a clue as to why they are here. They drift aimlessly, unconcerned about the answers to life’s greatest questions—why life and why death? Others enjoy debating the meaning of life, but never arrive at the correct answers. Many conclude that mankind is little more than a product of evolution—blind, dumb luck!
Many different people have different answers to that question here are just some.
Atheists refuse to know. Those who do not accept the existence of God certainly cannot accept that He has a Master Plan.
Scientists cannot discover this knowledge through laboratory analysis.
Educators cannot teach what they themselves were never taught. Those who merely teach from books written by other men cannot teach what those books do not contain.
Philosophers cannot discern it through meditation or discussion. Divinely revealed answers cannot be obtained by centuries of pondering questions.

If what i have wrote hasn't helped you. You may find this web page insightful:

To realise, then learn about and finally know the TRUTH of why you asked this question. You see the truth was here first.

Do you want to know what is in your mind? And not just believe in something you really have no idea about?

to see a light where must you stand?

you have to be more specific... are you asking why we are here on yahoo answers or why we are here as part of life?

coz i hate to answer a question that i dont completely understand... and even if majority of the people here are answering the first question (why are we here on yahoo answers) i don't want to go and answer that same question just because 99% of the people here think that's the question.

hate me if you want. ^_^

Guess no one has an answer to this question .... Imagine that we are all watching a movie, it's really interesting ... the events are great and the director did an amazing job with the plot ... yet there is someone in the movie theatre who is now asking "how is it going to end?" ... I told him to just sit back, relax & enjoy watching till the end .... Guess that's my answer to you ... no one will be able to tell you .... till the end .... and your reasons are diffrent than mine ....
So Hshshshshsh now, let us enjoy the movie ;)
