They both report with a slant, just in opposite directions. It appears that people believe if they're given the news the way they want to hear it, then that person is just more informative. It'd be really sad,if it wasn't so funny. They're both giving you the same information, they're just analyzing it and inviting guests to give it a certain spin. Spin is opinion not accurate information.

I have yet to hear much from Bill Maher but i did enjoy his book When You Drive Alone You Drive With Bin Laden. It was well done and very interesting. I love his Change for Change idea.
I have found Bill Maher funny in the past, but I am a Bill O'Reilly fan. He is very much a straight guy. He pulls no punches and just wants to get the information out there. So i enjoy his show.
I live overseas so it is rather hard for me to get alot of the quality radio that you enjoy in the states.
Thanks for the tip i will be looking out for Bill Maher.

Bildo O'Reilley is nothing but a White House repeater. Each morning he receives his talking points from the RNC and repeat those like a good little soldier. His broadcast (as well as the entire Fox "News" network) is nothing but an extension of the GOP to promote their message. I wouldn't compare them to the Nazi propaganda machine, that would be unfair to the Nazis.
Bill Maher on the other hand (although he sometimes rants) dares to be critical to the Bush junta. That is a sign of the healthy descent that this country is build upon. He deserves the congressional medal for freedom.

Bill O'Reilly is so far to right he might just fall off the earth. I just watch his show to see how attacks those who have an opinion that differers from his. The end of show with his spin and e-mails again makes fun of those who differ.

It's opinion as well as information. Just like everyone else....I agree with some of their opinions, and some I don't. but I would have to say..Bill Maher is more entertaining...and I love the theme song.....

Bill AHOLE o'reillys show is mainly based on his screwed up opinions! Not FACT like Yahoo answers! If people would learn the facts people might have the TRUTH, instead of listening to BLOW HARD O'REILLY !!!

both are talk shows which interpret the news. both will have facts in them that are leaning towards the hosts views.
