Is it just me or does the premise of this movie seem stupid? Does Hollywood underestimate the intelligence of moviegoers?

LOL! Yes, the title sucks....but then again you are talking about it and you remembered the title. Now if they can only get you to speak nice things about it....mmmm...maybe that's why they put what's her pretty face name in the movie....LOL! Ahhh.....Marketing.....You've gotta love it! But then again, moviesnobs are never underestimated!

This movie is a pure popcorn flick, meant to be nothing but entertainment for the viewers. If you are not excited by the thought of Samuel L. Jackson shooting at snakes ON A PLANE, then you do not have to pay six dollars for a ticket.
I myself find the premise a little odd, but many people enjoy that kind of stuff. Hollywood producers try to make movies that make money at the box office, and "Snakes on a Plane" does that, the movie will be made.

So far, Hollywood has gotten real rich "underestimating" the intelligence of moviegoers. How else explain "Paulie Shore"?

Which wouldn't shock me if part 2 is Bears on a plane and have Stephen Colbert. :P

yeah, the title as well as the plot is really kinda stupid and scaring alot of people. My mother just yesterday told me that she was scared of goiong ona aplane to Flordia because she was thinking "What if thre was a snake on an Airplane?"
But I heard the CD soundtrack is supposed to be really cool!

This is a greatfilm title. It tells you everything you need to know about the film in four words. Searching for a synopsis is rendered totally unnecessary.

Actually I think the writers are starting to run out of ideas for movies.... I mean they're starting to turn almost all books into movies as well...hardly anything unique has come out in years.
