The Indian education system is different than most in that while they are a poor country, they value education above all else and they put that a priority upon their children to the point of pressuring them to excel so that they feel enormous pressure from their families.
Only the top 10% of Indians get into college at all, so if you are not in the top 1% of you class, you cannot go to college. That is why you see so many of them come here to the U.S. going to school. Unlike, say, Mexico, where many, many citizens don't even aspire to go to college. In India, that is not the case. It is highly unusual to have such a poor country with such a high literacy rate. That is what makes India so rare.

Indian education is way different than American education.
Indians teach harder stuff, but the teachers don't realize that the students pass the tests by memorizing the whole book. India doesn't have free educational activities in school. Indian school doesn't have a computer or a TV in each class. People have to pay for the books when they borrow them from the library. You can use free internet in the library.
In America, it doesn't happen. Americans teach less harder stuff, but the thing is that the students get smart by doing many projects and going on trips. They learn from inside & outside the book. They saw us movies to learn history. We don't have to pay for internet or the books in the library. We don't have to memorize the whole book. There are many educational activities and sports in American schools.
American education is way better than is Indian education.
I have the experience of both.

The Technology in educational system has to be upgrade in all other countries quite a few has to unite and become in a same educational system, Indian education may have all latest techniques but the text they were studying might be off dated comparing to all other educational system they keep changing their ways, that's how when any of their graduate came abroad they have to do equivalencies.

i believe the british system is the best...
however, i think all the scholars from different countries should sit down to make a book for the whole of the world, so that every child recieves equal knowledge as his counterpart in any other country!
