criticism isn't beneficial . Its been known that even dogs when rewarded will be more likely listen to a command, then when yelled at. I know personally the sports teams I've been on where the coach rewards good plays, and helps people out when there not doing something right, is much more sucessful, then the coach that goes and finds faults with everyone.

Firstly do not take steps to deal with the a difficult situation or a problem until it occurs and immediate action becomes necessary and call for criticism. The criticism is always good in Democracy. It help administration to understand the problem and public opinion. Also If it gives suitable direction or a solutions then it should always welcome. However when it is motivated by political parties and to gain a power out of it then such criticism is dangerous to state and society. There are Laws for such criticism and Administration should take suitable action against the person ,agency or even against political leader.

Some criticism is indeed beneficial. Criticism is after all pointing out faults and shortcomings ala telling silly little skinny highschool girls who make fun of their peer's weight problems that this is not well done of them.

If we don't know we are doing wrong, we will continue on doing it. Hmm this question is in Media and Journalism section. Well so be it. Writers need to look at both sides of a story, and not to be afraid to criticize what they feel needs criticizing.

If the criticism goes deep enough to be constructive then we can all learn from it. But if it's done for the sake of put-down then it goes nowhere and the criticizer is just "a mouth full of tongue."

Just living human kind hi-lighting the blunders and slip-ups of human errors.
So the dirty old men in office and correct the mistakes not in going against them on planet earth.
If they don't listen how are we going to solve with what had already gone wrong.
So analyse what is errors and what is rubbish.
Afterall they all have a waste basket in their office.
Instead of putting human lives at high risk and high stakes on planet earth.
Without even knowing what they were doing on planet earth.

Criticism can be beneficial depending upon how it is delivered, and if you're not too defensive to receive it.

It can be but not necessarily, depends on who and how you are being criticized. I would listen and make you own judgment on how beneficial it might be or not be.
