Fire is both a blessing and a course. It is what first allowed humans to inhabit northern areas yearround, however if it gets out of control it causes major damage. Fire is a natural mechanism for renewing forests, many ecosystems are based around periodic forest fires, which destroy old growth, enrich the soil, and create room for new growth. well toppy I guess there wouldnt be life on earth if there wasnt fire cos all that long time ago they needed it for warmth etc.
